WPF deputy director Kate Kaye will present a paper analyzing refinement of AI governance from Canada, Chile and Singapore through real-world use cases at the Fourth European Workshop on Algorithmic Fairness.
The research Kaye will present compares and analyzes early applications of select AI governance tools from the three national governments, and advances analysis of a wider spectrum of AI governance tools from governments and NGOs surveyed and evaluated in WPF’s 2023 report, Risky Analysis: Assessing and Improving AI Governance Tools .
Kaye’s paper also complements prior scholarly research presenting critical analysis of the growing landscape of practical guidance, self-assessment questionnaires, auditing and evaluation frameworks, process frameworks, technical frameworks, technical code, and software interfaces, benchmarks, and other types of tools used for AI assessment and governance.
Kaye looks forward to sharing WPF’s ongoing AI governance tools research and analysis, and learning from peers visiting The Netherlands from around the world.
