Deputy Director Kate Kaye to Participate in Rutgers Roundtable on Synthetic Media Policy
WPF Deputy Director Kate Kaye is among a select group of invited researchers and other experts who will be participating in a roundtable discussion held by Rutgers Institute for Information Policy and Law and Tech Policy Press. At the Roundtable on Synthetic Media Policy: Where Next? Kate will share her ongoing research regarding data use and data privacy impacts of emerging content provenance standards and systems used in digital and AI governance.
Attendees will take part in discussions addressing synthetic content harms across the technology stack; the interplay of policy, tech and markets; efficacy, metrics and parameters of synthetic media related interventions; and more.
The roundtable will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 in Washington, DC.
